For their third F-100D sheet, Eurodecals offers more really nice late 50s. This go around, there are three options, due to the large markings that are provided. All of these planes are in overall natural metal with various shades in the hot section near the rear of the plane.

So here is what is on the sheet

First up is a plane from the 511 TFS/405 FBW based at Langley AFB back in 1959.

Second, we have one from the 35th TFS/8th TFW when based at Itazuke AFB in Japan in 1960.

The final option is 492nd TFS/48 TFW based at Chaumont, France in 1960. THis one will need to have the majority of the fin painted white prior to applying the blue stripes.

There are sufficient common markings provided to do one of the options though you can always use kit bits if you want to do more. Another option is to pick up just the data sheet from Fantasy Printshop as those are offered for £5.95 each.

There is no kit recommended in the instructions so I'm assuming these will fit kits from Trumpeter, Revell (Monogram) and ESCI. All are F-110D aircraft. The set comes with a separate sheet with sufficient common markings for one aircraft. The newest of these three kits is by Trumpeter, but they botched the intake. Fortunately, there is a resin replacement available. Next would be the Monogram offering and my last choice would be the ESCI offering, which by all accounts is to be avoided.
