This is the second Sabre sheet from Superscale in this most recent batch of new decals. All that I have said about the first sheet is applicable with this one.

This aircraft is also from the 39 FIS/51 FIW, and while Capt McSwain was not a Mig Ace, he did have one of the most involved and colorful markings applied to the F-86 during the War. 'Mike's Bird' takes up a considerable portion of the forward fuselage of the plane. As you can see from the sheet, the only part you'll have to paint is the yellow nose. Doing a decal for this surface is basically impossible! Should you wish to display the speed brakes open, you'll have to resort to kit decals. However, I've looked at lots of photos and not always were these deployed.

For kits you have a choice of several. If you have the bucks, then the Hasegawa kit might be your pick. For a bit less is the excellent Academy kit. I've built this kit and found it to be a very good build. If you have an older Monogram kit, it can also be used, as can the ESCI version, but most will choose the Academy or Hasegawa version.
