Superscale has for this latest batch of decals, started off with Korean War F-86F Sabres. This particular aircraft is the F-86F-10 of Harold Fischer's 'Paper Tiger', one of the few Sabres to have a shark mouth applied to it. Capt Fischer was assigned to the 39 FIS and ended the war with 10 confirmed Mig kills.
This particular sheet is similar to what Superscale is doing with the more involved markings that it presents. Rather than have the builder paint on many of these and have to scrounge data markings from other sources, they have decided to provide all that is needed at one place. This often means that these sheets will not have multiple subjects on it. Personally, I don't see a problem with that. On one hand, I like having a choice on one sheet. On the other, I fully realize that rarely does any more than one scheme get chosen and used. Rather than have to buy extra decal sheets for the data markings, I fully support the idea of putting everything on one sheet.
One other thing that many of you may not realize, is the extent to which the newer Superscale sheets go to in order to provide accurate data placement. I've scanned the entire instruction sheet this time so you who have not considered using a Superscale sheet will see what all is provided. As you can see, not only are there the standard markings, but the instructions provide an extensive data placement guide, references for the markings and some notes to help you do the best job possible.
