Entries will be accepted on or about 1 April 2015 (Dates are subject to change).
Do not vote until you see an announcement in What's New which will be around 1June 2015
This contest is for vehicles you see on the TV and in Movies. It is not limited to airplanes, but includes all manner of vehicles and people. The builder needs to provide photo reference with the entry. It also has to be exactly like what is in the film or on TV. For example, if doing a "Battle of Britain" Spitfire, it needs to be a Mk.IX as used in the film. This contest does not extend to non-operational props like the fiberglass P-40Bs shown in the movie "Tora Tora Tora". For figure folks, a bust of, say, Dirty Harry would be appropriate. Car guys can do something like the "Ghostbusters" ambulance. Armor guys can make a Tiger out of a T-34 as in "Kelly's Heroes" or paint an M-24 in German markings as in "Guns of Navarrone".
Note please that these need to be real items that could be touched by the cast and in the case of powered items have to be able to perform just like the real items. This will eliminate many sci-fi subjects as those films were heavily reliant on props, models and CG as well as any cartoons. The best way to provide proof is a photo from the movie or TV show.

As with all other contests, if there are doubts and no one can answer your questions, I'll include it, but if I get any e-mails that show it is ineligible, I'll pull it. I will not pull a model after judging has started.
There will be no Display Section.
