The subjects for this contest have to be aircraft that were designed for civil operations and not prototypes for military aircraft.
To clarify that a bit, it means that the prototype Bf-109 is not eligible as that was never intended for civil operation. However, you can send in civil versions of the He-70, He-111 or Do-17(for example). Though that is stretching things somewhat, they were used in airline operations.
Ex-military aircraft used as airliners (the C-47 comes to mind) are fine as the DC-3 was originally designed as an airliner.
NO WARBIRDS OR WARPLANE-DERIVED RACERS. If the plane was designed from the ground up as a racer, it is fine.
Light planes and sports aircraft are within the rules and encouraged. This includes gliders, balloons and dirigibles.
All entries have to be in civil livery with the appropriate national registration.
If you have any questions, post them on the -Forums-. I'm sure that there are those of you who can nit-pick things to death, but keep in the spirit of the competition.
As with all other contests, if there are doubts and no one can answer your questions, I'll include it, but if I get any e-mails that show it is ineligible, I'll pull it. I will not pull a model after judging has started.
There will be no Display Section.
Awards are fully dependent on what is received. If you wish to help with providing awards,
