Kitty Hawk 1/48 Russian Weapon Loading Cart

One thing that Kitty Hawk has been providing for 1/48 jet modelers is a goodly number of Russian modern jets. Each one of their kits of these planes contains more weapons that you'll ever use so it is nice to see them come out with this set of weapons loading carts and engine stands.

As you can see from the box art, you have a goodly number of styles and there seems to be at least two of each type. There are the missile carts for the large body missiles as well as those that hold several of the smaller air to air missiles.

A pair of engine stands are also included. Two engines are provided for these by including sprues from their SU-34 'Fullback' kit. Then their are some bomb carts. You also are provided fire extinguishers and jacks.

But that is not all, you are also provided with a fairly large fret of photo etch that includes wheel chocks and remove before flight tags. I would have thought these tags would have been in Russian, but they are, in fact, in English. There are also a couple of chains on the fret. A set of white number decals is also included but not shown.

Instructions are well drawn and do provide color information. Most of these items are to be painted orange yellow.
