This last new set from Ultracast provides you with more P-38 Lightning wheels. The P-38 used a variety of wheels and tires during its career. This particular set is for spoked wheels with the main wheel having a rear cover. The tires on this offering are block tread, another frequently seen tire pattern. As with all Ultracast products, it is superbly molded, flaw-free, and pretty easy to remove from the resin pour stubs. There is no specific kit identified for these or the other P-38 wheels as they will work on all 1/48 Lightnings. One simply has to drill out the axle hole to the proper size.
