The earlier set reviewed was open wheels with block tread. This set is covered wheels with diamond tread. This pattern and wheel was more common on later P-38s, though it was not uncommon to see them used on earlier ones. There is no specific kit for these, but any applicable 1/48 P-38 should find them a proper upgrade.
As usual, one simply preps it, paints it and removes it from the casting block. Well worth the effort as they are beautifully cast.
