Though the kit has been out for over a year, it seems as if the Eduard 1/48 P-39 has finally gotten some attention for other than the aftermarket decal people. These are the first two of four sets of exhaust for the P-39. The Airacobra probably had more different types of exhaust done for it than just about any other recip aircraft! These are probably the most common; the twelve stack exhaust and the tubular 6 stack ones.

As with other Ultracast resin parts, they are among the finest resin aftermarket items you can buy. They are superbly molded, super simple to remove from the resin blocks (often just a sharp hobby knife is all that is needed) and are direct replacements for the kit part. This means no cutting and other modifications are required to use them; just a coat of paint.
