This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Great Wall 1/48 TBD-1 Devastator. Though designed for the GW kit, these may well be usable on the venerable Monogram kit with some work. This set is just the main landing gear and the retraction struts. The kit tail wheel is quite small and there is no need to replicate that. These parts are direct replacements for the kit parts.

The gear is quite sturdy and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As you can see from the image, the casting is first rate.
