More nice metal gear from Scale Aircraft Conversions. This one is for the rather popular 1/48 H-111 that has been seen in ProModeler, Monogram and more recently a Revell bot. The -22 is about to be reissued so that will be nicely timed. This set has the complex main gear struts and retraction gears along with a tail wheel piece. These are direct replacements for the kit parts so no instructions are needed. As you can see from the image, the casting is top notch.

The gear is quite sturdy and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them.  Don't sweat getting thinner bits that might get a bit bent in shipping. By slowly working them back into position, they are as good as new. It is one of the realities of cast white metal that we all come across.
