This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Hasegawa 1/72 F-18A-D Hornet. Though Hasegawa's legacy Hornet has been around for decades, this is the first metal set I've seen for the kit. The set consists of a single nose gear piece with the two main landing gear and a couple of main gear bracing struts. These are direct replacements for the kit parts and are nicely molded.
I am pleased to see SAC doing sets for older kits and really wish they'd do a proper set for the really old Hasegawa F-100 in this scale as the kit parts are not well done at all. However, those would need a total make-over so it will probably not happen.
