This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Hasegawa 1/72 F-4 Phantom II series. Now I should mention this is for the newest of the three times that Hasegawa has kitted this aircraft. This newest boxing (which is actually 20 years old) is the 'go to' kit for many 1/72 F-4 builders and has yet to be equaled or surpassed. This set is pretty simple. It contains the three landing gear struts with the retraction struts for each leg and the oleo scissors for the nose gear contained within a metal sprue to protect them. These are direct replacements for the kit bits and are very nicely cast. What I like about SAC offering these older sets is that there are times when we break or lose a kit part and so now we have another option.
