This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for yet another new kit that has yet to hit the local store shelves. This time it is the Aero Plast 1/48 Mi-2 Hoplite helicopter. Being a helo, there are no retraction struts, but there are shock absorbers. This set includes both main gear V struts as well as the shock struts. The nose gear is also included. I am not sure what the other Y strut is for, but I do notice a tail strut and perhaps it is for that item.  The more fragile bits are encased in a metal sprue to keep them free from damage during shipping. As you can see, the casting is first rate and these are direct replacements for the kit bits.
