This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Academy 1/48 Spitfire XIV. Like most Spitfires, the set is pretty basic. This one consists of two main gear legs, the oleo scissors and a separate tail gear with the wheel molded in place. This is a direct replacement for kits parts .

The gear is quite sturdy, and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As is the norm, some of the thin pieces may be a tad bent, but will straighten up quite easily.
