A few months ago, I purchased the recent Hobby Boss 1/48 A-4E kit. With the Hasegawa version becoming scarce and expensive, I wanted to see if this would be a viable alternative. While I've not built it yet, I did notice that, somewhat typical of Hobby Boss, at least one of the markings options, that which is on the box art, could not be built with what came in the kit. Why? Because the kit only provided the early, straight refueling probe. The box art kit clearly shows the later 'bent' version.

The only replacement available, for those who do not want to make their own, is one for the Hasegawa kit and that is what this is. It should fit without any real trauma and while I'd rather not have spent the funds, most of my aftermarket sheets are for planes with this probe.
