Recently, I previewed the Italeri boxing of the Kinetic 1/48 F-84F Thunderstreak. I had a couple of e-mails telling me that the intake was just too round and there was a fix for it. Well, like so many of you, I like easy fixes and so it is with this set. There is the nose intake piece and a small sliver for the very forward portion of the nose gear door. No muss, no fuss and what is apparently an obvious gaffe is corrected.

This is pretty much what the Quickboost brand does for you. Fixes what you feel is the most important issue on a kit. Now you may well want to go full monty on a model and I believe that Aries has a major fix it set for this kit, but for those of us who just want to fix the most obvious, this is probably the best way to go.
