NOTES:

For the Hasegawa 1/72 kit

This new Pavla set is a cockpit set for the Hasegawa 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon. Now I have not seen this kit, but if it is like most Hasegawa 1/72 kits, it has a pretty basic cockpit that uses decals for instrument panels and side consoles. That makes it a great subject for a decent cockpit. This set is a complete replacement for the kit bits and has all you need. It includes a cockpit tub with the area behind the cockpit, a center console for the control stick and rudder pedals, a new bang seat, a new instrument panel and new side panels. You will need to do a bit of trimming to install the side panels. Also included is a new section for under the back of the canopy and a strut for use when posing the canopy open. Adding to this are a pair of small panels that are only visible when the canopy is open that sit atop the cockpit opening.

The set is superbly molded and comes with complete instructions for installation and painting. Something I like is that Pavla has finally inserted a section of foam into the packaging to prevent the bits from rattling around and having the small pieces break off in shipment. This is a real step forward.
