I am one of many modelers who suffers from Riggingphobia. This is a fear of screwing up the rigging on biplanes and similarly strung aircraft. I recently purchased the Hasegawa 1/48 E8N1 'Dave' kit and thought that when (or if) I build it, then perhaps the dedicated rigging p.e. fret might not be the best way of tackling it. The fret almost looks more like stainless steel than brass, which is a nice touch as real airplane rigging is rarely brass in color. In addition to the rigging, you get a boarding ladder, instrument panels, seat harness, engine ignition harness, water rudder, radio antenna, display tag and a few other bits. The set is for both the E8N1 and the E8N2, differing only in what is under the lower rear fuselage.

The set comes with complete and easy to understand instructions. I seem to recall that the kit instructions also provide steps where you install the various photo etch bits, which really helps out. The set is nicely done and If you are thinking about building this kit, it may well be worth the investment to pick one up.
