A popular aftermarket item has been canopy masks. These have been produced by a number of manufacturers over the years, but the ones that seem to be the most popular are those by Eduard.

There are some planes where one really does not need to use a mask set, though that hasn't stopped manufacturers from producing them. Over the years, I've used very few masks, but have started using them more and more when it comes to aircraft with lots of small panes.

This set is for the Tamiya 1/48 F2A Buffalo. While one could do much of the kit's clear bits with the usual tape and knife, the small ones would be a pain, so this is a useful set.

The set includes both the canopy and wheel masks, which is a nice touch, though Tamiya's wheels are pretty easy to brush paint without them.
