An extremely popular aftermarket item has been canopy masks. These have been produced by a number of manufacturers over the years, but the ones that seem to be the most popular are those by Eduard. What makes Eduard's so popular is that they are made from kabuki tape. Some others use thin vinyl, which I've found to be a bit more difficult to use, though they both work as advertised.

I did not used to be much of a mask user and for simple canopies like on F-86 or F-4 jets, I still mask the old fashioned way. However, once you get to building models of aircraft that have a lot of smallish panels or a kit with fairly indistinct frame lines, these sorts of masks have come in very handy and to me, are worth the additional cost.

This set is for the Hasegawa 1/48 Ju-87D/G Stuka. As usual, you get wheel or tire masks (depending on how you'd rather use them). You are also provided a comprehensive placement guide and this comes in very handy while using them. I generally tic off the mask I've just applied so as not lose my place.

Worth picking up.
