Over the years I've been relying on mask sets for aircraft canopies that have multiple or convoluted frames. the Me-410 is one such kit. This particular set is for the new Airfix kit. While it is stated to be for the Me-410A-1, I see no reason why this wouldn't work on their Me-410B. Not sure if it will work with those from Italeri, Fine Molds or Matchbox, but I have my doubts as often parts like this on one kit will not be compatible with other kits.

As you can see, there are a considerable number of panes of various sizes, some being quite small, that need to be covered. No way could I use the tape method on some of those and still get acceptable results. This is especially true when doing curved surfaces.

Note also that Eduard provides masks for the tires/wheels. While they would like you to first paint the tire, then apply the rings around the wheel, then mask off the rest of the tire with liquid mask, I've always first painted the wheel, then used the centers to mask it and finally paint the tire. Either way will provide good results.

Worth your efforts to hunt down.
