I've found that for some aircraft models, masks for the canopy have become worth the additional cost and effort to find them. This is especially true of aircraft such as this Wellington. While it is designed for the Airfix Mk.II, I see no reason why it wouldn't work on other Airfix Wellingtons and perhaps on other company's efforts.

As you can see, there are a considerable number of panes of various sizes, some being quite small, that need to be covered. No way could I use the tape method on some of those and still get acceptable results. This is especially true when doing curved surfaces such as those on the various turrets.

Note also that Eduard provides masks for the tires/wheels. While they would like you to first paint the tire, then apply the rings around the wheel, then mask off the rest of the tire with liquid mask, I've always first painted the wheel, then used the centers to mask it and finally paint the tire. Either way will provide good results.

Worth your efforts to hunt down.
