I recently bought a Hasegawa 1/72 Ju-188 kit and as I'm likely to do nowadays, I went in search of a canopy mask for it. I was able find lots of them for the Italeri kit, but had to do some sleuthing to find one for the Hasegawa kit. I should mention that I found some that included paint on markings, but I did not want one of those as I have decals for this kit.

Typical of Eduard mask sets it is made from yello kabuki tape and includes masks for the wheels and for the DF antenna cover on the spine of the aircraft. It also comes with fairly comprehensive placement instructions.

The 188 is a particularly pane intensive aircraft and having something like this is a real time saver. Not surprising is that some of the really curved parts are represented by just the outlines and you have to fill in the rest with liquid mask.

Overall, it is well worth the effort to hunt this set up if you are building the Hasegawa kit. I'm not sure if these will also fit the Italeri kit, but my gut feeling is that they will be close, but not quite.
