Eduard/Brassin 648024 1/48 Su-7 Ejection Seat
Some
time ago, I was gifted with an ESCI 1/48 Su-7 that had already been started.
Going through the kit, I discovered it was lacking some components. None will be
difficult to replace or duplicate save one. This was the ejection seat.
Fortunately, aftermarket to the rescue with this nice Eduard/Brassin seat. The seat comes in a box large enough to hold a dozen and includes two pieces of resin and a small etched fret. Though one could easily assemble the seat using the box art image, there are instructions. The small resin part sits behind the head rest. The etched brass if for the seat rails, seat cushion(?), some straps and other bits and pieces to flesh out the seat.
No painting information is provided but there should be a lot of images on the 'net to help out. Molding is very nice and this should fit without any issues. If not, I have a big file and know how to use it.
