Another fine 'quickie' set for the Hasegawa 1/48 P-38J Lightning. Again, it is mostly for the cockpit and the major bits are replacement instrument panel and consoles. As this is an early set, they provide an acetate instrument sheet, but why use it when there is a superbly printed color dial set in there?

You also get a harness and some levers to add to things. Also included are oleo scissors, engine intake grilles and some skid plates for inside the wheel wells.

For those who are a bit anxious about diving in to a massive p.e. fret, these are a great way to get an intro to the genre and perfect for those who don't want to spend the time required for a whole hog set.  One thing I will say is that Eduard needs to rethink their interior colors as the few bits in Chromate Green seem to be too bright.
