Eduard is undoubtedly the king of etched metal detail sets. This latest endeavour is one that immediately caught my eye. It has something I've never seen in an etched metal fret; color. All of the bits are in the appropriate color for the part. The seatbelt bits in a fabric color, the seat back in leather, the instrument panels in black with color details (see closeup) and the bulkhead bits in RAF interior green (or something pretty close). It even includes the correct style of radiator grilles for the under wing coolers. The instructions say the color is anodized and will not easily come off. Even the instructions are in color, which is a first from Eduard to my knowledge. In addition, there is a nice etched name plate for you Spit display.

I must say that I was quite impressed when I saw it and HAD to buy it to get a chance to examine it more closely. It could be the next trend in aftermarket goodies and one that will be welcome by some and scoffed by others. Only time will tell, but it is a great idea.
