This latest new item from Signifer is a pair of resin airfield plates as used at French bases during WWII. I have to confess that I'd not been aware of these prior to receiving this set. Based on the painted one shown on the Signifer web site, these were either metal or concrete. You are provided two plates that are each approximately 8.5 x 5 inches in size, which would make for a fairly good size display. Enough for most single engine prop planes. My particular set suffered some corner breakage during shipment, but the pieces are such that they can be easily repaired.

In all, it makes for yet another neat accessory for those who like to build French WWII types.
