This is Yellow Wing's newest sheet for the SBD-1 Dauntless. All the -1 Dauntlesses were destined for USMC squadrons with all save a few ending up with either VMB-1 or VMB-2. This sheet allows you to do any, yes, any SBD-1 that served with either of these units.

The instructions provided give a most complete listing of not only the SBD-1s produced and their original destinations, but also a serial and code match-up. Not only that, but the exact colors of the various bands and stripes is provided and correlated to an individual aircraft. Insignia, wing chevrons and fuselage stripes are available on other Yellow Wings sheets.

As with all of Yellow Wings decals, these are superbly printed by Microscale, a leader in quality decals. If you have been holding off doing your Accurate Miniatures SBD-1 because you didn't want to do the kit provided markings, you no longer have an excuse!
