This latest Yellow Wings Decals sheet is most welcome and offers the modeler three options for the Hobbycraft 1/48 P-35 kit.

The first option is a plane from the 17th Pursuit Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group based at Selfridge Field during 1937. The aircraft is overall unpainted metal with a white forward cowling and two black fuselage bands along with the unit's owl insignia.

Next is another unpainted metal version. This time it is from the 94th Pursuit Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group, also at Selfridge Field during 1937. This aircraft has a red forward cowling as well as red fuselage bands and has the unit's Indian head insignia. I should add that for this and the previous set of markings, the sheet includes the rudder stripe decals as well as the wing walks, a nice touch.

The final set of markings is for an olive drab over neutral grey plane. This one was based in the Philippines during 1941 with the 24th Pursuit Group. It is a good option for those who are not comfortable with bare metal finishes.
