The final new release Kingfisher set from Yellow Wings decals contains markings for two aircraft. As with the previous sheets, one of these is a proper yellow wing aircraft.

The first plane is a VO-1 aircraft assigned to the USS Arizona in 1940/41. This aircraft has a red tail section as well as a red fuselage band and engine cowling.

The other is also a battle-ship borne plane, this time from VO-6 aboard the USS Washington in early 1942. This aircraft is camouflaged in blue-grey uppers with light grey underside and includes the red and white rudder stripes .

The set includes markings for both aircraft and includes float stencil markings. A nice addition are the wing walk areas and the black trim stripes for the yellow wings option. The decals themselves are superbly printed by Microscale and Yellow Wings includes some of the finest instructions in the business. I have darkened the scans so the white bits are easier to see.

So now you have yet more nice options for the big Kitty Hawk Kingfisher.
