For Revell AG kit

This thired Hawk sheet covers the current black period of RAF Hawk use. This brought a return to the 'normal' RAF roundel and fin flash, though due to being on a gloss black surface, they are now with a white surround. The decal sheet provides these as separate decals to which one puts the insignia after they dry. Two of these markings options have either white or yellow bits that will need to be painted and that will be covered in the description. The sheet provides Xtracolor and Xtracryic color options. These colors are also available in other paint lines in case the ones listed are not locally available.

The sheet covers ten different marking schemes, a number of them special schemes as the Hawk fin seems to be perfect for this sort of thing.

Starting from the far left and working down the page we have:

Two options for a 100 Sq aircraft. One from 2000 and the other from 2009. Next is a 95th anniversary plane from 19Sq/4FTS during 2010. A standard marking option is provided for this plane if you do not wish to the anniversary markings. The other is a plane from the Naval Flying Standards Flight with Royal Navy markings.

Moving over, we have a 208Sq/4 FTS plane from 1999. With the white eagle on the tail is a 151 Sq/7FTS/2TWU plane from 1992. This plane was testing the all black scheme and has white lower wing tips. Another test plane is the 63 Sq/7FTS/2TWU plane from 1992. This one has yellow 'rays' on the lower wing in a thin triangle. These special markings will require painting.

Finally a 208 Sq/4 FTS plane from 2010 with the roundel flashes. Then a 19 Sq/4 FTS plane from 1998, and the last option is a 74 Sq/4 FTS plane from 2000.

Now those are a goodly number of options. The decals themselves are superbly printed and Xtradecal provides a full stencil sheet in X32031 or you can use the kit stencils. Also included are some additional numbers and letters to allow you to do different planes. These are also applicable for the grey Hawks previously reviewed.
