This is a thank you sheet for those who have supported Wolfpak Decals in the two years they have been in business. All one has to do is purchase $30 worth of product and the sheet is yours. This is VERY limited.
As with all Wolfpak decals, the instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type, kits and update bits for these schemes, as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have.
So on this sheet is:
An F-16A as the boss bird from the 430 TFS/474 TFW at Nellis in 1981. Standard three tone greys and this is a later 'plus' version.
Next, also from Nellis, but in 1971 is this A-7D Corsair II of the 57 FWW. It has the yellow and black checked rudder.
Third is an HH-34J from the 304 ARRS based at Portland IAP in Oregon. Overall ADC grey.
Finally two Hercules. One is a C-130 from the 435 TAW at Rhein-Main in 1991. This one is the last USAF C-130 to be done in a desert scheme. The other is from the 317 TAW at Pope AFB in 1978 in an experimental scheme of greys using FS 36495 and 36320 for the two greys. Interestingly, the older Airfix kit is considered the most accurate aside from the cockpit area for a C-130E. The Italieri kit has the too short engines of the C-130A and so needs resin replacements.
All this stuff is in the instructions.
As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
Thanks to WolfPak Decals for the review sample. You can order yours direct via Paypal using sales@millcreekconsultants.com for the reference. Free US shipping, Canada and Mexico add $3 and rest of the world add $4.
