NOTES:

For this new Wolfpak Decals sheet we concentrate on USAF electronic warfare aircraft. There are six subjects on the sheet with most of them what would be considered 'big' models.

We start off with an F-100F from Det 1, 6234th TFW at Korat in 1966. This is a wild weasel aircraft.

The B-1 is not an electronic warfare plane, though does carry a decent EW defensive suite. This plane, 'Top Secret' flew the 1000th combat mission of a B-1.

We then have two EB-66Es. One with the 19th TECS at Kadena in 1970. The other was with the 39th TEWS based at Spangdahlem in 1972.

For the final options, a pair of EC-135s. The first is a C model 'MILSTAR' equipped plane from the 55th SRW at Offut AFB in 1991. The other is a G model with the 305th AREFW based at Grissom AFB in 1989. Note that the 135C has the smaller turbofans of the KC-135E and the 135G has the turbojets of the KC-135A. This is important when deciding on which kit to use as a basis.

There are kits available for all the subjects so modeling any of these will be easy enough.  It is recommended that one does not use the Trumpeter kit for the F-100F as it has some serious shape issues. As usual for Wolfpak, the decals are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and the sheet comes with the best background information provided by any sheet in the business. You also get the cheatline stripes for the 135s so no need to dig out a stripes sheet.
