This is probably the most incredible Spitfire decal sheet that I've ever seen. Entitled 'Spitfire-Aces of the Empire, it consists of two huge sheets, containing markings for 41 different aircraft. While some of these have been produced on other sheets, this is the only place I know of where you can find them all together. Think of it, just about ever famous Spitfire that you'd ever want to do, all in one place.

Listing all the different aircraft would be a bit much for a review, so let me list some of the pilots. Colin Gray, 'Sailor' Mahan, Robert Stanford-Tuck, Douglas Bader, 'Buzz' Beurling, Neville Duke, 'Paddy' Finucane, Ian Gleed, 'Johnnie' Johnson, Johnny Plagis, Clive Caldwell, Evan Mackie, 'Gabby' Gabreski, and Doug Smith are among those listed. A number of these pilots, such as 'Johnnie' Johnson, have multiple aircraft as flown in different parts of their careers.

In addition to the superb sheets, there are four pages of color profiles to assist with decal placement. In addition, several sheets of more specific information are provided. These pages have the other side of the aircraft for more exact decal placement. There is also a rather large introduction to the sheet that offers advise and information on modeling and camouflage.

This is one decal sheet that I can very highly recommend to those who want the very best for their next Spitfire project and for many others to follow!
