Note: For the Revell 1/72 Type VII U-boat

Now that the Revell 1/72 Type VIIC U-boat has finally arrived in the US, there will be a number of folks searching for alternate decals. I've already reviewed the first sheet and this is the second of the series. Fortunately for us all, there are a lot of different markings and camo schemes for this kit so if one wants to build a Wolf Pack, they won't all be identical boats!

This sheet has 21 different emblems and 3 special camo schemes, two of which are shown in the drawings above. Several other boats have some very fancy conning tower markings that will have to be painted, but will look quite distinctive when done.

Boats covered are the U- 71, 72, 81, 92, 97, 134, 205, 209, 221, 223, 228, 231, 238, 255, 338, 404, 458, 564, 593 and 601. As you can see, the instructions are excellent and carry a brief history of each boat in both German and English.

This sheet is available direct by using the e-mail address in the link below or checking with your favorite store. I'm sure that Hannants in the UK and Squadron in the US will carry these.
