This next new sheet covers the camouflage period after the bright 'yellow wings' aircraft were muted into a more war-like scheme. The sheet is probably sized for the Accurate Miniatures kit, though I'm sure that if you have the HiPM one, it will work on that as well since that are not any bands of size-specific items like that. Except where noted, the aircraft are in FS 35189 Blue-Grey over 36440 Light Gull Grey. Of course, there was no FS 595 standard back then, but these are pretty close.

First is an SB2U-2 from VS-9 aboard the USS Charger in 1942.

Second is another VS-9 aircraft from the same time period.

The USS Ranger carried this VS-41 SB2U-2 during its 1941/42 cruise. Though it shows the black codes and large insignia without the central red dot, during 1941 and early 42 the insignia would have had the red dot and the codes were probably white, at least early on.

In overall Light Gull Grey is this SB2U-3 assigned to MCAS Ewa in Hawaii during early 1941.

Finally, with VS-42 on the USS Ranger during late 1942 is this SB2U-2

The sheet provides  insignia for three if you choose wisely, prop tips for two, and data/wing walk areas for one aircraft. Also included are the proper wing gun shell ejector chutes in etched brass. The instructions give more information on this and are very nicely done in full color.

The decals themselves are superbly printed and quite thin, making for a logical choice for your next project.
