Here is a great sheet for which there really are not any good kits. In 1/72 your choices are Fujimi for the F4U-5, Matchbox for the F4U-4, and Hawk for the AU-1. Now I do know that Italeri has done an F4U-5/7, but I've not built it so cannot comment on it one way or the other. All of these are in overall dark sea blue so painting them will be a cinch. There are only one set of US markings, but aftermarket sheets can help with more should they be needed.

First up is a VF-14 F4U-4 from late 1949. The only color is a yellow fin tip and prop hub, though it does have some fin art.

The Suez Striped F4U-7 is from the French Flotille 15F in 1956. The yellow stripes are provided on the sheet.

The insignia-less F4U-5N is from VC-3, circa 1954. This has red on the tips of the fin, tanks, wing tips and the prop hub.

The AU-1 from VMA-212 has a nice white arrow on the forward fuselage as well as white on the prop hub and very tip of the tail.

The other AU-1 on the sheet is from VMA-323, though without any real color at all.

Finally, from VF-22 comes this F4U-4 aboard the USS Coral Sea in 1948. Light blue is on the tips of the wings, tail, fin and tip tanks as well as the prop hub.
