This is the first of two new sheets and one of particular interest to me. The kit is the Revell, Revell AG or ProModeler boxing, depending on whether you need the early or later Sabre Dog.
First up is an 85 FIS/33 AD early version F-86D without the parabrake door on the back. For that, you'll need the ProModeler boxing. This aircraft is of particular interest as they were based just a few miles from me at Scott AFB in 1954. Probably the only time that the base has had fighter aircraft. The planes were gone by 1959 when we first arrived here and the alert hangars are being used by the aero club and to store snow removal equipment.
The other is from the 5 FIS at McGuire AFB in 1955. This is a later model F-86D and so has the parabrake. You'll need the Revell kits for this scheme.
Enough insignia and other bits are provided for one aircraft, making the choice a tough one for this modeler!
