Pulling up some nice Hellcat markings off some older sheets, this one covers a goodly selection of mostly -3 Hellcats. For kits, go with Hasegawa or Arii/Otaki, depending on how your budget happens to feel at the moment. Both are very nice kits. The -3s are all in the tri-color scheme of Sea Blue, Intermediate Blue, and White (non-Specular, of course). The F6F-5 is in overall gloss Sea Blue.

First up is white 21 from VF-2 aboard the USS Hornet in 1944.

Next is from VF-13 aboard the USS Lexington in 1943. It wears the briefly used red surround insignia.

The lone F6F-5 is from VF-7 aboard the USS Hancock in 1943. It sports a replacement rudder in Intermediate Blue.

Finally, from VMF(N)-535, comes this F6F-3N night fighter that was based on Guam in 1944.

The sheet provides enough data for one or two planes and enough insignia to do three of the options if you pick and choose wisely.
