Superscale 48-912: P-47D Thunderbolt

Units: 57 and 353 FG

Yep, another T-bolt sheet. This one has two of them in bare metal with OD anti-glare panels. The recommended kit is not given on this one, but previous sheets were designed for the Tamiya kit. I see no reason why it shouldn't work on the Hasegawa version as well.

First one up is 'Ponnie' from the 64 FS/57 FG when based on Corsica in late 1944. It has a red cowl front and yellow wing and tail stripes. Though the instructions don't say, you'll need to paint the pylons yellow as well to match.

The other is from the 350 FS/353 FG. 'Rat-a-dat' has the remnants of invasion stripes on the lower fuselage. This plane has the 13' Curtiss-Electric symmetrical prop The cowling needs to be painted yellow prior to application of the diamonds. Instructions are given on the best way to apply this large decal.

There are common markings for one of the two planes.
