There is an adage that says something like 'if you can have one new F-4 sheet, you should have two'. If there isn't, there needs to be one. This particular sheet is for the F-4J version and provides a couple of interesting aircraft.

First off, in light gull grey over white, is an aircraft from VMFA-232 around 1974. Superscale has provided the red tail as a decal instead of requiring the fin to be painted, which is nice. I would, however, make sure the entire fin is painted white prior to application to get the proper color saturation. This aircraft has the large wing stars that were one of the several options for the Phantom II. Walkways are not provided, but, fortuitously, Superscale recently released a sheet of USN/MC F-4 walkway decals!

Next is the 'white bunny' from VX-4 at NAS Pt. Mugu. This one is a bit odd in that not only is it an overall white, but it carries no insignia and the markings are in a low-viz grey. Very much a most unusual combination. You'll notice that there is no intake warning stripe either.

There is no suggested kit, but Phantom Phanatics will realize that the Hasegawa series is the best around. Those with the ESCI kit can use that as well, but it is truly an inferior kit to the Hasegawa version.
