The second
F-4 sheet is a 'one plane' sheet. Basically because of the size of the
markings on the sheet. Again, Hasegawa will probably be the most used, but
the Monogram kit will do well also for those who have it or don't want to
spend the big bucks on the Hase kit. These markings are basically the same
as what they used on the earlier F-4B, so if you want to change the serial
number, you might be able to do a B version as well. The aircraft is in the
standard light gull grey over white with white control surfaces. The fin
tip needs to be painted red. The earlier B models also had the wing tips
and stab tips in red so check references if doing a backdate. VF-74 was the
first and last fleet squadron to fly the Phantom so it had a long history
with the aircraft.
