Here is the second new sheet for the F4D-1 Skyray. This very cool plane carried some very colorful markings during its short career with the USN. This sheet contains two of them. As you can see, there are enough common markings and glareshield decals for one aircraft. There are two small decals Sit Sexy, that are not shown on the placement guide. These are to go to the top and bottom of the portside splitter plate on the VF-74 aircraft.

The first plane is from VF-23 at NAS Miramar in 1957. It carries a large yellow tail band. This plane has a grey radome.

The VF-74 bird is from the USS Intrepid from 1960. It carries the unit's red rudder with stars. The drop tanks for both planes have black non-skid painted on the forward section.

For kits there are two out there but really only one that is suitable. Most will opt for the very nice Tamiya kit, while masochists will be wanting to build the ancient Lindberg version.
