Who likes Scooters? Well apparently Superscale does as they have produced yet another sheet. They have also done a couple of schemes that I have not seen before. Both planes are later E models and have been fitted with the avionics hump that has a UHF radio, ADF antenna and IFF transponder built into it. (I used to work next to the 'hump bench' in the avionics shop so know what's in this thing!)
Anyway, the first bird if from VA-45 det 1 aboard the USS Intrepid in 1969. These planes were supposed to provide fighter cover for the ASW carriers! The most notable feature of the plane's markings is the black bird on the side of the fuselage.
Next is a nice, colorful CAG bird. Those who are into the A-7 and F-18 will notice the eagle of VA-195 as that particular marking has lasted through all three aircraft changes.
There is a full suite of insignia and data markings for one plane. There is also a single anti-glare panel decal. Another great sheet for a very popular aircraft.
