Notes:

Superscale sheet 48-143 is for the RF-4C Phantom II. All three aircraft are in either standard SEA scheme or the wraparound version. Since this is the Microscale packaging of the sheet, the instructions are printed on both sides and give a comprehensive decal placement for all the various stencils. There are enough national insignia to do two of the aircraft on the sheet, but only enough stencils for one.

There is one 'special scheme' for the 173 TRS aircraft that participated in "Photo Finish 1981", a tactical recconissance meet that was held every few years. This aircraft is in the standard SEA scheme. With the demise of the specialty photo recce aircraft, I believe the meet is no longer held.

All in all, a very worth-while sheet. If you are asking what kit is available for it, there really is only one. Testors brought out an 'RF-4B' which is actually an RF-4C and was originally made, I believe, by ESCI. It is difficult, but not impossible to find. There are also several resin nose conversions available, just remember to fill in the forward and aft Sparrow bays on the kit you are converting. Maybe one of these days, Hasegawa will see fit to upsize their very nice 1/72 RF-4C to 1/48.
