Here is another ancient Microscale/Superscale sheet and this time it is on a pair of B-26s from the 444th BS/320th BG. This unit was known for its neat shark mouth markings on the noses of its aircraft. For this sheet, there are two planes.
One is in the older OD over Neutral Grey and carries some pretty neat nose art, including a nice cheesecake called 'Cindy' on one side with the rabbit Thumper on the other. Since it has a pretty good tally of missions, I'd imagine that this one would be pretty well worn.
The other aircraft is in bare metal and entitled 'Miss Arkansas' on both sides of the aircraft. It also carries a goodly number of missions so these planes were worked pretty hard.
The instructions have photos of both nose arts, which is pretty neat. The only kit around of any worth is the Monogram/Revell kit. There is also an AMT B-26, but it is a good idea to pass on that one if you find it.
