The second new sheet is also a 'reduced' 1/48 sheet and is scaled for the Hasegawa kit. Actually, I don't see any reason why you can't use the Academy or even the Airfix kit for this one. Just be sure to verify the tail turret as both of these show the 'Cheyenne' turret on the drawings. It is difficult to tell if they have staggered waist gun positions or not. I guess some research into the serial numbers will tell for sure.

First up is a preserved B-17G, 'Shoo Shoo Baby' from the 401 BS. It force landed in Sweden during early 1944. This aircraft was restored to flying condition at Dover AFB and is now in the USAF Museum, though in OD paint.

Next is an OD over neutral grey aircraft of the 322 BS. 'Chow Hound' is a rather standard looking aircraft from 1944 and doesn't sport the garish colors used later in the war.

Because it is a 1/72 sheet, there are insignia for both options.
