This sheet covers two P-47D's, both from the 509 FS/405 FG. They are in unpainted metal with OD anti-glare panels and red on the forward cowling, canopy and windscreen, and ID stripes. Most will use the Tamiya P-47D kit as that is what the decals are scaled for.

First is 'Fat Cat' of Hank Bakken. This P-47D-28 also had red cowl flaps to add some color as well as red wing tips.

The other is 'Chow Hound' of Robert Blackburn, the CO. He has a P-47D-30 with the fin fillet painted in red as well as the red wing tips.

Both aircraft are quite colorful and both have the 13' Curtiss asymmetrical props. Insignia and data markings for both. The instructions provide an excellent data placement guilde.
