Though this sheet is designed for the Airfix F4D-1, there is no reason why it shouldn't fit the Tamiya kit, though there may need to be a little trimming or painting done to get the markings to fit. All the subjects are in the light gull grey over white scheme and  there are enough insignia and data markings and intake warning decals to do two of the three subjects. Ther are wing walk areas for one aircaft.

The instructions on my copy were very lightly printed. This happened a lot when Superscale broke away from Microscale. It then basically took one side of the instructions, replaced the 'Microscale' logo with 'Superscale' and scanned away, resulting in some pretty sad looking instruction sheets!

First up is from VF-13 with its black, white and red design on the fin, which is based on the unit's official badge. This aircraft was aboard the USS Shangri-La in 1960. This aircraft also has nice red and white stripes on the ailerons. This unit last flew F-8s before being disestablished.

Next is a VF-23 Skyray from the USS Hancock in 1958. It has a pair of yellow 'flashes' on the fin. There are also another set of yellow markings on the sheet, but no indication as to whether they go on this plane or the next. They may go on the drop tanks. VF-23 eventually became VA-23 (if I have my history right) and last flew A-4E Skyhawks.

The next is from VF-74 aboard the USS Franklin Roosevelt in 1957. It has a brown and yellow fin tip and lightning bolts just aft of the canopy. Of all the squadrons shown, this one lasted the longest, turning in its F-14s in the 1990s. The others disappeared around 1970.
